    50 = 49 6/6

    49 6/6 - 8 5/6 = 41 1/6

    41 1/6 = 40 7/6

    40 7/6 - 8 5/6 = 32 2/6

    The answer is 32 2/6 or 32 1/3.

    Most people are getting it wrong because the are not subtracting 8 5/6 twice. The question said she took TWO 8 5/6 lengths of tape.

    First off, 8 5/6 feet = 8.83
