You are arranging a long weekend retreat for your company's executives. You choose two different ski resorts to find the best deal for ski lessons. The executives would like to have 2 hours of ski lessons on both Friday and Saturday. Q. Super Ski charges $378 for 3 days of 2-hour lessons. Monster Ski offers lessons for $75 an hour. Super Ski is 10 miles from the hotel, and Monster Ski is 15 miles. It will cost $0.43 per mile to drive to the lessons. Which resort is the better deal for the company?

    Monster Ski, because Super Ski has lessons for THREE days, instead of the 2. That costs over $380 for the lessons and drive. Monster Ski has lessons for 75 an hour, and that is $300 for 2 hours. A little over 305 with the drive.
