The manager of a store selling tea plans to mix a more expensive tea that costs $6 per pound with a less expensive tea that costs $2 per pound to create a 80 -pound blend that will sell for $3.20 per pound. How many pounds of each type of tea are required?

    He would mix 56 pounds of of the $2 Tea with 24 pounds of the $6 Tea to make the tea cost $3.20 per pound.

    Explanation:

    3.20*80=256

    From here I guessed and checked to see how many pounds per type of tea made a total of 256 dollars.
