    2x - 3 = 2x - 4

    2 - x 1 - x

    (2x - 3) (1 - x) = (2x - 4) (2 - x)

    2x (1 - x) - 3 (1 - x) = 2x (2 - x) - 4 (2 - x)

    2x (1) - 2x (x) - 3 (1) + 3 (x) = 2x (2) - 2x (x) - 4 (2) + 4 (x)

    2x - 2x² - 3 + 3x = 4x - 2x² - 8 + 4x

    -2x² + 2x - 3 + 3x = - 2x² + 4x - 8 + 4x

    -2x² + 2x + 3x - 3 = - 2x² + 4x + 4x - 8

    -2x² + 5x - 3 = - 2x² + 8x - 8

    + 2x² + 2x²

    5x - 3 = 8x - 8

    - 5x - 5x

    -3 = 3x - 8

    + 8 + 8

    -5 = 3x

    3 3

    -1²/₃ = x
