Since. 7 is above 5.
$45.71 would turn to $46.00.
You would round 45 ... the 5 to 6 ...

The answer is 46.00 because when rounding if the number is 5 and high then you round up and to the left. Example 23.621 round to the nearest whole number 6 is high than 5 so the 3 turns to a 4 so the answer is 24.000
