33 times a number x, subtracted from 18 is less than - 90. Write an inequality for the statement above. Find the solution set of the inequality. Write the solution using a fraction or integer.

    The inequality will be written as follows:

    33 times a number x=33*x=33x

    33x subtracted from 18=18-33x<-90

    thus solving the inequality we shall have:

    18-33x<-90

    -33x<-90-18

    -33x<-108

    dividing both sides by - 33 we get:

    (-33x) / (-33) <-108 / (-33)

    x>36/11

    Answer: x>36/11
