Sal had a board 5/6 yard in length. He cut off 1/3 yard, and then cut what remained into pieces each 1/6 yard long. How many pieces were there. A 2. B 3. C 4. D 6

    B. 3 is my answer because if you draw a bar model and cut it into pieces and take away 2/6, you are left with 3/6, 3 pieces.
