Miranda bought a tennis racket that was priced at $19. she has to pay 7% sales tax. to determine how much she will be charged at the register Miranda use her phone and enters 0.07 * 19+19. At the register, the computer calculates her cost as 1.07 * 19. find the different between the two calculations of Miranda total cost for the tennis racket

    In first calculation Miranda was first calculating tax of a 7% of 19$ tennis racket and than she added it to cost of tennis racket. In second calculation she automatically calculated 107% of a price of tennis racket that she will pay at register.
