    Further solving the equation

    2w^2 + 2w = 40

    w^2 + w = 20

    w^2 - 4w+5w-20 = 0

    = w (w-4) + 5 (w-4) = 0

    w = - 5, 4

    Since - 5 isn't possible 4 is the answer
