    The perimeter is 42 cm.

    Using the expression 2l + 2w, it would be 2 (18) + 2 (3)

    2 (18) = 36

    2 (3) = 6

    36 + 6 = 42

    2 (18cm) + 2 (3cm) = perimeter

    36cm + 6cm = P
