The temperature dropped 25 degrees. then the temperature went up 17 degrees. let t represent the beginning temperature write an expression to show the ending temperature

    T went up 25 degrees to give a temperature of t + 25

    this went down 17 degrres to give t + 25 - 17

    which siplifies to t - 8

    final temperature is t - 8 degrees
