Colleen says she is thinking of a 4 digit number in which all the digits are the same.

Since, the value of the digit in the hundreds place is 200. It means that one of the digit of the given number is 2.

Since, all the digits of a number are same.

    Therefore, the number is 2222.

    Now, we can expand 2222 = 2000 + 200 + 20 + 2

Hence, we can observe the relationship between the digits of the number that the number 2222 is expressed as the sum of the place value of each of the digit.
