    perimeter = 2w + 2l

    44 ≥ 2w + 2 (5w+4)

    44 ≥ 2w + 10w+8

    44 ≥ 12w + 8

    44 (-8) ≥ 12w + 8 (-8)

    36 ≥ 12w

    36 (:12) ≥ 12w (:12w)

    3 ≥ w

    least possible width is 3
