A triangle has sides of lengths 24, 62, and 67. Is it a right triangle? Explain

    Right triangle

    c^2 = a^2 + b^2

    so

    24^2 + 62^2 = 576 + 3844 = 4420

    67^2 = 4489

    4489 > 4420

    answer: Not a right triangle
