    the greatest common factor here is 5, because 5 is it's own biggest number that is a factor of 15. so factoring this problem using 5 (gcf), would leave you with 5 (x-3) because you divided each number by the gcf (5)

    The greatest common factor will me 5 as 5 can go into both 5x and - 15
