Each student gets 7/8 pounds of clay.

Mrs. Miller has 4 pounds and Mr. Bowman has 3 pounds, together that is 7 pounds. There are 8 students so you divide the 7 pounds among them.

They get 7/8 pounds or 14 oz or 0.875 pounds each. I don't know what form you needed
