First I'd assume each "pizza" refers to the number of pizza pies. Each pizza pie includes 8 slices. Since there are 12 team members, and each at three, therefore 36 slices total were eaten by each of the 12 team members (12x3). Since you know that 8 slices make up a pizza pie, how many pies do you need to have at least 36 slices? The answer is 5 pies (or 40 slices). So the team ate 36/40 slices or 9/10 pizzas.
