    There are 13 diamonds, and 4*3=12 face cards, of which 3 are diamonds.

    So total of "diamond or face card" is 13+12-3=22.

    =>

    Probability of drawing a diamond OR a face card from a full 52-card deck is

    22/52=11/26.
