Without graphing, determine whether the system of linear equations has

one solution, infinitely many solutions, or no solution. Explain your reasoning. y=5x-9 and y=5x+9

    Because the x value is identical in both equations there would be no solutions.

    To solve linear equations you need to isolate the X variable by subtracting the value of one side form the other side. When the values are identical the X variable would be 0, meaning there is no solution.
