Keelah clothing store buys coats for $50 and then sells them for $80. What is the percent of markup on the price of the coat?

    50*x=80 (x=percent in decimal form)

    x=1.6 (divide both sides by 50)

    Doubke check:

    50*1.6=80

    80=80

    Convert 1.6 into a percent:

    1.6 - > 160%
