    Trapeziums: Half the sum of the parallel sides, times the distance between them!

    However, the shape with those units is basically a rectangle, so it's just base times height ... And a trapezium has only one pair of parallel sides, so perhaps the figures are wrong?

    Anyway, if you were to find the area of that rectangle, it would be 12 square feet.
