A triangular piece of stained glass has an area of 6 square inches and a height of 3 inches. what is the length of the base

    Area = 1/2 * base * height

    6 = 1/2 * base * 3

    lengths of the base = 6 / (3*1/2) = 6 / 1.5 = 4 inches answer
