A basket contains 3 / 8 as many oranges as apples and 3/4 as many oranges as pears. What is the ratio of the number of oranges to the total number of fruits in the basket?

    3/15 because with 3 oranges, 8 apples, & 4 pears that's 15 total fruits and 3 are oranges
