If tan x = z/10 and cos = 10/y what is the value for sin x

    Explanation

    tan = opposite / adjacent

    = z/10

    ∴ opposite = z

    adjacent = 10

    cos = adjacent / hypotenuse

    = 10/y

    ∴ hypotenuse = y

    sin = opposite / hypotenuse

    = z/y
