    The radius and central angle are the key components for determining the length of the arc. It is known that the arc length is equal to the circumference for an angle equal to 360 degrees or 2π radians. L = r*central angle Therefore, the arc length is radius multiplied by the central angle (in radians).

    example:

    r = 10 m central angle = π/4 circumference of circle = 2πr = 20π m arc length = r*π/4 = 2.5π m
