Concrete is a mixture of cement, sand, and gravel. The Masons will purchase a cement, sand, and gravel mixture in a ratio of 1:2:3. How many pounds of each material are needed for 60 lb of concrete mix?

    10 pounds of cement, 20 pounds of sand, 30 pounds of gravel. 10:20:30 = 1:2:3

    10 + 20 + 30 = 60
