Tracy bought a new sweatshirt. The shirt cost $25 but was on sale for 10% off how much does she have to pay for the sweatshirt

    Okay so because it's 10% off you're going to take the original price ($25) and move the decimal over once. So, $2.50. Now back to the original price!

    $25.00 - $2.50 = $23.50 for the sweatshirt. I don't think I explained that very well, but that'd be how you found your answer?
