48,000. Look at the tens place, If the number is 5 or higher then you round up, if its 4 or lower the hundreds place stays the same. Since the number in the tens place is higher than 4 you round up, meaning you would add 1 to 9 which give you ten. You would carry that ten over, giving you 48,000
