Y = 2x - 4
You need to take everything except y to the LHS to get the equation into the form of y = mx + c

To get [tex] - 2x+y+4=0 [text] into slope-intercept form, you want y on one side of the equation and the rest on the other.
[tex] - 2x+y+4=0 / /
-2x+y=-4 / /
y=2x+4 [tex]
so [tex] y = 2x-4 [tex] is your answer.
