A wheel made 308 revolutions at 26 and 1/8 revolutions per minute. How many minutes did it rotate?

    Lets look at this as a proportion: (26 1/8 rev/1 min) = (308 rev / x min) The x represents the amount of minutes. Cross multiply: 308 = (26 1/8) x x = (308/26 1/8) min x = 1001 min
