    A=adult ticket c = children ticket

    12c+3a = 162

    8c+3a=122

    Multiply the second by - 1. Add both

    And you have

    4c=40

    Divide both sides by 4

    c=10 ...

    The price for 12 children is $120

    The price for 3 adults is $162-120 = $42

    Each adult pays $12

    Each child pays $10
