    Y=5/15x + 8/15 is he answer. first you subtract 5x from both sides to get - 15y=-5x-8 and then you divide everything by - 15 to even everything out and get Y by itself

    Slope intercept is basically solve for y

    5x-15y=-8

    minuus 5x both sides

    -15y=-5x-8

    divide both sides by - 15

    y = (1/3) x + (8/15)
