    The computer will finish in 2 seconds

    2/3 = 4/6

    1 = 6/6

    6/6 - 4/6 = 2/6

    Answer: It needs 2 seconds.

    Step-by-step explanation:

    The data we have is:

    The diagnostic program has completed 2/3 of the analysis, this means that we have a:

    1 - 2/3 = 1/3 left.

    we know that in 1 second we can complete 1/6 of the analysis, so in t seconds we will complete a:

    y = (1/6) * t of the analysis.

    if we need to complete 1/3, we replace it in the previous equation and find the value of t.

    y = 1/3 = (1/6) * t

    t = 6 * (1/3) = 6/3 = 2

    then we need 2 seconds to complete the analysis.
