    The y intercept is 4

    which in a gragh it what goes up in the y axis to form a triangle sometimes.

    -3x is the slope which is the rise and run of the triangle.

    Y = - 3x + 4

    In y = mx + b form, the y intercept will be in the b position.

    y = mx + b

    y = - 3x + 4 ... so ur y intercept is 4 ... or (0,4)

    just so u know ... in y = mx + b form, the slope will be in the m position ... so ur slope would be - 3
