If the measures of two sides of a triangle are 3 feet and 7 feet, which is the least possible whole number measure for the third side?

    The lease possible measure for the third side will be when the angle between the two given sides is 0 degrees, i. e. the coincide.

    Then the measure of the third side will be 7 feet - 3 feet = 4 feet.
