    x numbers of coins in box A = 55

    y numbers of coins in box B = 115

    Step-by-step explanation:

    the numbers of coins in box y = x + 60

    the value in cent of $ in box A is 50*x

    and the value in cent of $ in box B is 20*y

    So 50*x = 20*y + 450

    y = 60 + x

    Solving for x 50x = 20 * (60+x) + 450 50x = 1200 + 20x + 450

    30x = 1650 x = 55

    y = 60 + 55 = 115
