Whole numbers are the natural numbers, i. e., positive integers and zero. Whole numbers: 1, 4, 9, 16, 25, 36, 49, 64, 81, 100 etc. would have square roots that are whole numbers: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and so on. This means that the square roots are not irrational or imaginary. The square roots do not have numbers that have decimal values or complex values dealing with square roots of negative numbers.
