A candle maker plans to make 30 orange candles. She mixes wax to create a specific shade of orange. The ratio of each color in her mixture is shown below: 2 parts red wax 5 parts yellow wax 3 parts white wax. The candle maker needs 1 quart of orange wax for every 6 candles. How much yellow wax will the candle maker need to make all 30 candles?

    1 quart of wax makes 6 candles

    If 30 candles is to be made then 5 quart of wax is needed

    The quart is made up of

    2 part of red

    5 parts of yellow

    3 Parts of white

    Total = 10 part to make the Orange shade

    We knew Yellow is 5 part out of 10 part as written up

    Hence, yellow will be 2.5 part in 5 quart
