    2 6/7 x 2 3/11

First you will have to change it into a mixed number by first multiplying the whole number by the denominator and adding it by the numerator. The denominator from the previous equation will stay the same.

    ((2x7) + 6) x ((2x11) + 3) = 20/6 x 25/11

Second you multiply the fraction. Multiply the two numerators and then multiply the two denominators

    20/6 x 25/11 = (20x25) / (25x11) = 500/66 = 250/33

Because the numerator is bigger then the denominator, it is a improper fraction and must be turned into a mixed number by dividing.

    250/33 = 7 19/33

    2 and 6/7 * 2 and 3/11

    = 2*7 + 6 = 20 = 20/7

    2*11 + 3 = 25 25/11

    20/7 * 25/11 = 500/77

    = 500/77 = 6 and 38/77
