The domain for f (x) and g (x) is the set of all real numbers.

Let f (x) = 2x2 + x - 3 and g (x) = x - 1.

Find f (x) • g (x).

x2 - 4x + 3

2x3 - x2 - 4x + 3

2x3 - 4x2 + 3

2x3 - x2 + 4x - 3

    (2x2 + x - 3) (x - 1.)

    = 4x3 + x2 - 3x - 2x2 - x + 3

    = 4x3 - x2 - 4x + 3
