X² + 6x + 9 = 16
x² + 6x + 9 - 16 = 16 - 16
x² + 6x + 9 - 16 = 0
x² + 6x - 7 = 0
and then find the factor:
(x + 7) (x - 1) = 0
x + 7 = 0; x - 1 = 0
x = - 7; x = 1
and there is your factors
