Jason pays a $100 installation fee and a $40 monthly service charge for his telephone. Which equation shows the amount that Jason pays for x months of telephone service.

    You would put the instillation fee of 100 dollars. Then you would put 40 because that is the monthly price. "X" would equal the number of months so the equation would read 100+40x
