landon has 60 peppermints and 90 candy corns. he wants to make packages of these candies to bring to his school

the maximum number of packages we take GCF

GCF gives the maximum number of grouping

WE find GCF of 60 and 90

    1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 12, 15, 20, 30, 60 are the factors of 60

    1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 15, 18, 30, 45, 90 are the factors of 90

So greatest common factor is 30

Hence, 30 packages he can make so that there are no candies left over
