The additive inverse is zero. The addtive inverse property states that any number added or subtracted to zero give the same number.

    Examples:

    0 + 3 = 3

    1 - 0 = 1

    -8 + 0 = - 8

    -3 - 0 = - 3

    0 + (-1) = - 1
