On monday, 397 students went on a trip to the zoo. All 7 buses were filled with and 5 students had to travel n cars. How many students were in each bus?

    You subtract the 5 students that didn't take the bus from the total amount of students and get 392. you then divide that by the number of busses

    392/7 = 56 students in each bus

    56 kids on each bus. If you have 397 and minus 5 you get 392, then you divide that by 7 and get 56!
