    B. because x is an unknown amount of toppings and its 1.25 per extra topping and you have to add 15 because you can't just buy toppings you have to buy the pizza

    Our total will be equal to 20. If we want 1 additional topping, we will have an additional $1.25. If we want 2 additional toppings, we will have an additional $2.50. So we can just multiply the number of additional toppings by 1.25 to get the additional amount.
