Evalue 5a+3b and (5+a) (3+b) for a=2 and b=4. How is the order of steps diferent for the two expression

    5a+3b = 24

    (5+a) (3+b) = 49

    The order of steps are different because one requires multiplication then addition while the other one requires addition then multiplication. But one sure thing is that they both need substitution.
