    -11°c

    Step-by-step explanation:

    6am temperature = 0°

    6 am temperature is 0°

    12pm temperature = 12° + 0° = 12°

Noon temperature is said to be 12° higher than the temperature by 6 am so we add the temperature at 6 am and the temperature at noon (12pm)

    Midnight temperature = 12° - 11° = 1°

By midnight, the temperature has fallen below the temperature at noon by 11° so we subtract the temperature at 12pm (noon) which was 12° by 11°

So we want to find out how many degree Celsius has the temperature fallen between 6 am and midnight,

Recall that by 12pm (noon) the temperature increased, not decreased, so we ignore the temperature at 12pm

By midnight, it has fallen by 11° which is negative 11° (-11°)

Therefore, between 6 am and midnight, the temperature fall was - 11°c
