    Y = 30x + 50

    200 = 30x + 50

    200 - 50 = 30x

    150 = 30x

    150/30 = x

    5 = x

    Alexis is not correct. If she starts with $50, and earns $30 per week, it will take her only 5 weeks to come up with the $200 to buy the iphone. If she waited 7 weeks, she would have $260 instead of $200.
