A convex polyhedron has 18 edges and 4 more vertices than faces. How many faces does the polyhedron have?

Euler's formula: V + F = E + 2

A) 8

B) 12

C) 14

D) 16

    The answer is D.

    F + 4 = 18 + 2

    F + 4 = 20

    subtract 4 on both sides to get F = 16
